The most special time was with my Gram this summer. She was so happy to have us visit her and just go around the town. We kept her busy the whole week. She is turning 80 this September, but still gets around great. We stayed up late watching QVC, played ten dice, shopped for purses, and ate at some new places in Hutch. We visited the salt mines 600 feet below the earth, studied space at the Cosmosphere, visited family in Abilene, and just relaxed. I appreciate Kansas and being there now at this point in my life. I'm sure Isabella thinks like I did when I was young: that all that's in Kansas is old people. Maybe this latest trip showed her a new side of KS as well. P.S. The Twister poster and "Dorothy" are part of the movie collection stored underground in the salt mines. I love that movie!
